Here’s what to expect from start to finish:

2. Approval: You review the preview and request any changes. Most customers do one or two rounds of tweaks. This is the “what if I don’t like it?” safety net — you don’t pay the balance until you’re happy.
3. Production (2-4 weeks): An artisan hand-tufts your rug using the colors, materials, and design you approved. Every rug is made individually.
4. Shipping (3-7 business days): It arrives at your door, ready to unroll and place.

Total time from first click to your floor: 3-5 weeks. Plan accordingly — if your due date is close, order early.

Common Design Mistakes to Avoid

• Too many colors. More than five and the design starts feeling noisy. Restraint is your friend.
• Tiny text. A name or quote rendered too small becomes illegible from standing height. Aim for letters at least 4-6 inches tall on a 5’×7’ rug.
• Forgetting the rug pad. A pad prevents slipping, adds cushion, and extends the rug’s life. Non-negotiable on hardwood.
